HAPPY SUNDAYS is an established concert series that takes place at the epicentre of Toronto's scene - The Baby G.
Every Sunday since forever, Transmit & The Baby G have been presenting FREE shows. This weekend our very own WORLD NEWS will be performing alongside CATQ and DARK TAPES.
Doors are at 8pm. Tell everyone you're going by attending on the Facebook event or don't! It's up to you.
World News will also have some brand new swag on sale, which they've been flaunting on their Instagram. That includes three-print long-sleeves, totes (in black, white or gold) and the GOLD02 limited edition cassettes.

WORLD NEWS LIVE AT HOUNDSTOOTH
WORLD NEWS are back in Toronto with a FREE Wednesday bonanza. Support from CATQ.
The electronic hardware duo will be showcasing a variety of new material for the first time ever. Expect racks of synthesizers, drum machines and hardware... it'll be a pulsating intensity the like of which, your Wednesdays will have rarely seen.
It's also Cat's birthday so get here early and join in the festivities.
Save the date... April 26th on Resident Advisor or Facebook.
World News Love Themselves As Much As They Love You
Toronto electronic hardware duo, World News have just announced two shows. That's right, they're scheduled to flood Toronto's Handlebar and Sarnia's Maud's Variety with cavernous synthesized sound in just a few weeks.
Not only that, but there's a plethora of incredible talent performing alongside them... and perhaps more importantly there is a hardware focus with all the acts. Get ready for big saws, envelopes, knob twiddling and spooky vocals all around.
TORONTO: Saturday January 21st 2023
w/ MOONBEAN and Erin Corbett
SARNIA: Friday January 27th 2023
w/ GUCC
Erin Corbett is a non-binary experimental musician that makes incredible decomposing and abstract electronic soundscapes with infectious stuttering grooves.
MOONBEAN is a queer Toronto-based artist, just back from an epic European tour! Led by Katy, expect a glittering hardware performance with big hooks and melodies, but watch out for the dancing caped crusader.
GUCC are Sarnia's premier synth and electronic group, making fun and funky, often humorous music. Who knows, perhaps Bill will be there to sing a little wrestling dittie for the first time ever (check here if this tickles your fancy)?
And then of course, there's World News. What can we say about those guys... the picture below says it all. This will be the second show with all new music, all new synthesizers, and an all new lineup.
